One of the numerous definitions of coaching is partnering with clients in a thought-provoking and creative process that inspires them to maximize their personal and professional potential.
To me, coaching is more than simply collaboration.
It is a partnership between equal people.
A partnership, in which trust, respect, tolerance and desire for collaboration prevail.
A partnership, in which I, as a coach, am responsible for the process and you – for the content. My tasks include listening, encouraging, challenging, repeating and providing space and time for reflection. Your tasks mainly include creativity – thinking, perceiving, feeling…
This partnership might help you get to know yourself better. It might awake new impulses in you, maximize your work performance, give you a different perspective on your relationships with close relatives and friends… It might even change your life and give you a stronger desire to enjoy it.
No, coaching is not some kind of therapy and I am not a therapist. From me, you will not hear advice on what is “good” and “bad” for you or what you must do or change.
I will not “fix” your life. This is what you will do – I will simply be by your side and show you how happy I am about the positive change you implement and the improving quality of your life.
