Hello, everyone. I am Yanko. Welcome to my world.
I was born in Burgas, Bulgaria and I currently live in Germany. I am married and I have 2 wonderful kids. By profession, I am an electrical engineer. I held a management position for while in the past, but now I do not manage people. I have not worked in the field of human resources and consulting. However, I am a motivational and leadership coach.
So, why coaching? That was not a spontaneous decision. No. I went through a lot of different positions and activities. I was looking for a job that matches my values. A job that could bring me satisfaction and teach me new things (the perfect job :)) And if a job did not fit me, I looked for the reason – why?! It might sound trivial and idealistic, but I never found anything that could fully satisfy me. So, the picture in my head gradually became clearer. This is when I heard about coaching.
Coaching is something I have inadvertently done throughout my whole life. I have always tried to help people in any way I can, to motivate them to act towards change, to support, to challenge. Many times, the way I have done this has been quite aggressive and has brought no results. Coaching allows me to change this.
To me, coaching is not just another job – it is a vocation. It is a way of thinking and living. By coaching, I can satisfy my need for balance, collaboration and motivation, as well as my desire to help others. Coaching allows me to transfer the energy I have to those who need it. Coaching brings meaning to my life!
How did I decide to choose exactly motivation and leadership? I think that we are living in a fast-paced and quick-changing world. A world in which everything related to our jobs (requirements, manner of operation and communication, location, operational freedom and decision taking) changes drastically. And this tendency will only get stronger in the future. I believe that leaders, the true leaders who lead us, are those who can shape our futures. This is exactly what I want to contribute to:• To help future leaders get to know their own selves better. • To help them realize what skills and abilities they need in order to inspire us and serve us properly. • To help them identify and consolidate their most important values and to voice these values without being afraid. • To help them achieve internal balance – to synchronize thoughts, words and actions. So that they can lead us towards a better world!
Other topics, on which I am glad to work, are career coaching, motivational coaching and transformation coaching. You can learn more about these in the section “Your Benefits”.
I have completed my coaching education here and I have been certified by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry (IHK) in Karlsruhe, Germany. The technique for posing questions used in the “Clean Language and Symbol Modeling Lite” method also appealed to me and I took an additional course to learn more about it. I also completed the first level of education (Initial Mastery) in the “Intelligent Leadership Executive Coaching Certification” program by John Mattone.
I am a member of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) – the world’s largest community of professional coaches. The Federation is a benchmark for:
- Service quality – the high-quality services that members provide (Core Competencies)
- Constant learning – members are obliged to constantly build on their knowledge and competencies
- Ethics – members are obliged to comply with the Code of Ethics
The requirements for members of the Federation are identical anywhere in the world.
It is my honor to also be a member of the Bulgarian and German Federations.
What does all that mean for you? You can rest assured that I possess the necessary qualifications to work as a coach. You can be convinced about the high quality of my services – trust and respect are a vital part of my daily life. You can be certain about the transparency of the services I offer – we will establish and clarify everything together (down to the smallest detail), so that you can make a proper decision about our mutual work.
